Walter Steel Allen, Jr., a resident of Laurens County and presently the President of the Laurens County Museum Board of Directors has written and published two books. Please join us this Thursday evening for a book signing with our local author. His books are writings of historic fiction and are based on Allen's own ancestry lineage during the upstate frontier era. There will be an introductory and a question and answer period with Mr. Allen.
