What a perfect evening to learn more about researching and pulling your family tree together. A segment of this program will be for beginners to learn about more advanced techniques searching about DNA, Roots Tech and AI. Genealogy is an exciting and excellent way to meet cousins and make new friends from South Carolina and beyond.
For those that are a bit more advanced in researching genealogy, Shelby Hart Lollis, Genealogist, will share her latest research from a workshop at the Mormon Library in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mike Becknell, State President, South Carolina Genealogical Society will help with court records and other legal documents. Sarah Jane Armstrong will help the beginners with census records, birth and death certificates, obituaries, oral history and cemeteries.
This meeting is open to the public so do come and join us and learn about Genealogy.
